We were very proud of our Christmas creations!
We enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner on Thursday!

On Monday, we had a super Christmas party! We even had a special surprise visitor.

(Thank you for much for the £1 donations towards party food!)

We enjoyed dancing and party games.

We must have been very good for Santa to come and visit us again!

We enjoyed a Christmas sing along with the rest of the school.

We gave Mr  Edmonds a card to say goodbye and good luck in his new role.

We will all miss you, but look forward to welcoming Mrs Tooms in 2017!

Thank you all so much for your support this term.

All the Foundation Staff would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in 2017! frown

Week Beginning 5th December

Wow! What a fabulous week! I am sure that you are all as proud as we are of the children's performance in "Whoops a Daisy Angel."

They all sang their hearts out and spoke their lines so clearly. We had super dancers and everyone remembered when to come on stage. Well done Foundation!

We have also been busy writing for different purposes this week.

We wrote birthday cards for baby Jesus.

We also wrote some sentences to tell the Christmas story.

We made lists for Santa of all the good children!

It was a long list, as everyone in Foundation was on it!!

More activities from the week...

Week commencing 28th November

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Foundation! We've been having lots of fun playing in our Santa's Workshop role play...

In maths, we have been learning about more than and less than. On Friday, we played a game using dominoes.

In Finger gym, we have been

  • labelling Father Christmas,
  • counting and attaching paper clips to baubles,
  • making shapes with peas and cocktail sticks,
  • building words with letters on pegs,
  • and making patterns on the peg boards.
Here are some photos of us busy choosing our learning...

We have also been busy rehearsing our Christmas Play. We can't wait for you to see it next Tuesday or Thursday.

Next week, we will be assessing Bear Words and so will be issuing next sets, if required, then. Thank you. smiley

We hope you have a lovely weekend!
