Year 5 Homework – Friday 3rd February

For your homework, we would like you to research the produce (e.g. food, exports) of Brazil. We would like you to come to school prepared to tell us about something you have found out. You could bring in pictures, drawings, notes or an object – the choice is yours! It is up to you how you present your work. We expect you to be prepared to talk about/share your learning with the class for Thursday (9.2.17).

Week 2 Homework

Dear Children,

Your homework this week is to start/complete a poster on e-safety. The poster should be about five e-safety rules and how you stay safe online. You could do more. Please make sure you complete this homework with your parents as this could be a chance to talk about how to stay safe online at home. To be completed by 22nd September 2016.

Friday 24th September - Week 3 Homework

This week the children need to logon to their 'Active Learn Primary' account

https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk/login?c=0.  The children were reminded about their username and password today.  Logon to see the activity and complete by Friday 30th September.

Friday 21st October

For homework this week, we would like the children to research 'King Alfred the Great' from Anglo-Saxon times.  Today, an A4 sheet, with the following prompts, was handed out to children for them to include within their research.

  • When Alfred was born
  • When he died
  • His early life
  • What was he was famous for?
  • Why do we remember him today?

This can be presented as a fact-file, or any other interesting way, but please could it be on A4 paper to enable us to stick in our Learning Challenge books.

Wishing everyone a happy half-term break.
