Today we explored our new topic: The Great Fire of London. During our WOW Day, we investigated London as it was in 1666, through watching a video and describing the scenes we saw. Today we had a visit from Ros, who works for the RSPB. She came to help us identify different habitats around our school. We learnt orienteering skills of using a map to plot our position in the school grounds.
Class 2WH collected 70 marbles in the jar, a marvellous achievement. Each week if the children read 5 times at home they get a marble in the jar. Thank you for your support with this keep it up. Our new target is 100 marbles!
What an exciting week we had last week in 2WH. On Wednesday, the children were invited to Rushcliffe School to take part in a gymnastics festival with some friends from other local schools.
