As part of our Mayan topic, we will be making our own salsa/dip based on ingredients that the Mayans enjoyed. To kick things off, we needed to dive in and taste some of these foods so that we know what flavours we want to include. We tried a range of ingredients: sweetcorn, tomato, lime juice, onion, chili and avocado. Now we can’t wait to put our favourites into a delicious dish of our own!
