For those of you visiting our school website for the first time, I am delighted that you have chosen to find out more about us. I hope that you are able to gain a flavour of life at Abbey Road from all of the information here. If you do require any further help, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
We are a happy school and we work hard to make sure our children feel valued, safe, secure and aware of the needs of others. At the heart of this lies the strength of relationships between both pupils and staff. A warm, supportive atmosphere permeates our school and this is evident in the outstanding behaviour of our children. All are encouraged to ‘take care and be proud’ – of each other as well as themselves; of the work they do and the school environment – and our dedicated staff team make the time to get the best from each child, ensuring individuality is nourished and nurtured.

What a wonderful evening celebrating music!
Our Glee Club and orchestra gave fantastic performances, and it was a pleasure to hear from some of our talented instrumentalists too. The concert showcased not only musical skill, but also the confidence, commitment and enjoyment that music brings to our school community.
A huge thank you to staff for their dedication in nurturing and championing music, and to our parents and families for their ongoing encouragement and support. ❤️🎶
Well done to everyone who performed – we are incredibly proud of you!

We would like to say a huge thank you to our amazing Take Care community for supporting us with The Book Bus! Your generosity allowed teachers to visit once more after school today to buy 117 new books for our children to enjoy, all paid for by the commission that you earned for us.
Additionally, our Reading Ambassadors have chosen 43 new books (28 for June’s ‘Book of the Month’ and 15 bonus books!) and teachers have selected 14 for July’s ’Book of the Month’. These were paid for using the money raised during our World Book Day book sale. So… in total, a whopping 174 new books for school. Thank you so much! ❤️📚

Can you help? On Saturday 13th June, we are creating our digging zone ready for our next OPAL play area. We will be on site from 9am - 11am and would really benefit from the school communities help! Simply bring your own spade along to help us enhance our play provision even further! Please fill in the form attached via QR code if you are able to lend a hand! Children are welcome to join to help, but there will not be additional supervision in place for them! ... See MoreSee Less
