We are a happy school and we work hard to make sure our children feel valued, safe, secure and aware of the needs of others. At the heart of this lies the strength of relationships between both pupils and staff. A warm, supportive atmosphere permeates our school and this is evident in the outstanding behaviour of our children. All are encouraged to βtake care and be proudβ β of each other as well as themselves; of the work they do and the school environment β and our dedicated staff team make the time to get the best from each child, ensuring individuality is nourished and nurtured.

βοΈ Year 4 go to battle! π‘οΈ
Year 4 launched their new learning about the Romans in true Roman style! They designed and made their own shields and helmets before putting their army skills to the test in the school hall.
They marched, followed orders, formed organised defences and even practised the famous testudo (tortoise) formation. There was plenty of strategy involved as they tried to break through each otherβs defences β with a few paper balls flying along the way!
A brilliant, hands-on start to their Roman topic!
